							| I need about 25 small objects for a sounds guessing game.  I want to put them all in a box or a big bag.  I already have several things in mind.  Can you help me think of more objects??
 Pinky

Thanks!! This is for a game with children ages 3-5.

(Edit:  Please see my other post to see a list of objects I already have.)

							| Thank you dear friends.
I wrote Guess the Sound Game in the title of my post, perhaps I should have put it in my messages as well.  I need objects that make a sound if they are hit, squeezed or pushed (etc.)

 I already have:

a baby food jar lid (It clicks when I press the center.)
a train book that makes train noises
 a cow that moos
 a plastic bag
 a paper bag
 a bell
 a plastic toy phone
 a toy car
 some spoons
 a plastic bottle

I need to look for the list of objects I used last year.

I would love to hear more ideas.  Sorry for being unclear before.

							| I am a small objects collector!  I keep them in these small drawers and use them in different ways - sort by beginning sound, colours, size... We play "I spy", or display about 7 objects, hide one and ask which one is missing ?  Great for vocabulary building.    But I did not answer your question. How about classroom objects - pencil, pen... or small toys such as a car, objects from a doll house...  Easy to find small things.  I m always "hunting" them. Some of the objects with names beginning with C | 8 Nov 2009

							| Some more ideas...
 a real mobile phone
a paperback book (when you flick through the pages)
a fan (when you flick it to open it)
 an electric toothbrush
a mouse for your computer or a keyboard
 a stapler
 a hole punch
a lighter (careful you don t set the bag on fire!)
 something with a zip
 something with velcro
a DVD in the case (when you push down the centre o take out the disc)
 an aerosol can
 a pen (the clicky type)

 Hope they help!

							|    The tray on the left held a drum, castanet, keys on a ring, paper to crumple, water in a bottle, retractable pen, egg with rice inside, and a nut inside its shell. The tray on the right has a collection of bells. Children used these to listen to the different sounds and to play a sound guessing game with friends. Other objects that could be included: velcro, zipper, rainstick, squeaky toy, coin purse with coin | 8 Nov 2009
