							| Hi all   I like to inform you with a quick information:   the words (word+homework and workbook) the right way to pronounce the letter O in these words is a   workbook = warkbook word         = ward homework= homewark     What do you think??   we learned incorrect pronunciation for these words , let �s be carful and present correct language to students.     let me see your opinion :) |  15 Nov 2009

							| thats very new to me. all of my colleagues and teachers come from north america.  i �ve never heard any of them pronounce homework as homewarek!!  or word as wared, except my fellow jordanian colleague! which we always make fun of him about his accent lol.  |  15 Nov 2009

							| thank you I really surprised when i heard this information from our supervisor, and I tried to discuss it with him by saying that some native speakers pronounce using o, but he told me to check the phonetic transcription in the dictionary.    |  15 Nov 2009
