							| Hi Slightly means  only a little, not very much. It �s an adverb
 A little bit  is a small amount.
 They are synonyms and sometimes they can be interchangeable: This is a bit /slightly different.
 There are instances, however when we can use only one of them.
 I would like a little bit of sugar in my tea. Here a little bit means some.
