How can I download a video from u tube to my computer - not a link?

Hi Adva,
You �ll need to download a "youtube downloader" on to your computer. Once it �s on your computer, open it and copy and paste the youtube file on to the downloader.
Below is a link to download the one I use.

Just had a look at DVDvideosoft converter that Libertybelle uses and it is definitely much better than the one I use. Will be using this one from now on. Thanks Libertybelle!

YOu �re welcome Ranclaude!
The important thing is to download in an AVI format that can be played on almost any player.
You can �t show a film in YOUTube format as far as I know. It needs to be converted.

install the RealPlayer, a downloading bar shows at the top of any video in the internet even youtube, it �s very practical, or you can go to http://keepvid.com/, copy and paste the video link in the downloading bar and then click on download

Thanks Libertybelle - you just solved my problem from the other night. I was looking for a free convertor to convert to AVI without leaving a watermark and this site does exactly just that. Thanx. |
