							| Dear Friends, Is it correct to say " Sorry for having sent you the wrong information" (referring to a past action) Because they did actually send the wrong info in an e mail. As far as I know Sorry for sending the wrong info is right but I�m not sure about the first sentence.   Thanks in advance for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Have a great weekend!   |  29 Nov 2009

							| Yes, it is correct.  Having +past participle acts as a gerund.  Look: "Sorry for having broken your vase." "Sorry for breaking your vase."  In both cases, the speaker is sorry that he/she broke the other person �s vase. |  29 Nov 2009
