							| I ve once seen the period 2000-2009 being referred to as the noughties (nought = zero). | 14 Dec 2009

							| I ve just checked both the noughties" and "the zeros decade" (only "the zeros" will include lots of links to a  music band).
 Here are the Google Results.

 - Results 1 - 20 of about 644,000 for the zeros decade.

 - Results 1 - 20 of about 2,120,000 for the noughties.

 P.S.: I love Google.
P.S.(2): Ok, I know we have to be careful about it.... lol.

							| Like Philip, I ve seen the decade referred to as the noughties . It s common enough in the UK at any rate.
Shouldn t be confused with the Naughty Nineties (1890 - 1899)!
Looking forward to the Teens / Teenies / Tennies ....
 Regards,
