Hi Isaserra,
2316 is the number of my total points now, which is (I think) the total of all the downloads my worksheets have received, minus the number of downloads of worksheets not in the new contributions section that I have made (34).
Maybe I am wrong about this, if so please correct me.
I agree that we can �t see the number of downloads another member has made, but we do not need to be able to to answer this question.
It is the number of points that you have that is relevant when you need to make a download, not the number of downloads you have already made.
So I should be able to make 2316 downloads if I want (though of course I won �t as I don �t want my points to go below 30) , and Pipetochka should, theoretically, be able to make 617 downloads without any problems at all.
Pipetochka, have you already tried to download the worksheets without success?
If so I would suggest that you send a PM to Victor to get the problem sorted out.

your points will not go down, they will stay the way they are, it �s only the number of your downloads that �s gonna go up. But the point is exactly the number of times ur wss have been downloaded. Try to download something and you will see that your point won �t go down, but your downloads will plus one point

We don �t lose points when we download?? That �s a revelation to me...
I thought each worksheet costs 1 point to download, and you get 1 point every time someone downloads one of your worksheets.

You do lose points, but they won �t show...So, one has to be careful with the number of downloads, & check if you still can download for free. The points under your name only show the ws people downloaded...

OK...
I just downloaded a worksheet, the number of downloads went up, but the number of my points didn �t go down.
Why won �t the spent points show? How can you know when to stop downloading not to go below 30? |

We have to check that the number of downloads does not exceed our points!!!!!!
( minus the 30 magical points!)ie : do some Maths!!!  |

By the way, my sincerest apologies to pipetochka - it sounded in my first two replies as if I was doubting her honesty, I DID NOT, I simply didn �t know about the maths thing.

You can go below 30 points and still get your free downloads. Once you break the "magical 30 points mark" your account is authorized 30 free recent downloads--regardless of how many points you use/have used. |
