I have a lesson about food quantifiers... we�re making sandwiches in the classroom and writing the ingredients..
 
the children should be specific about the amounts of ingredients...  The sandwiches are light, cheese sandwiches, vegetable sandwiches or any healthy sandwiches that could be done at classrooms... so no eggs, beef, turkey, fish...
 
for example, 
 
a handful of lettuce leaves, 
 
1 tbsp. of jam,
 
2 spoonfuls of honey 
 
a slice, a loaf, of bread
a sprinkle, pinch, of salt and pepper
a piece of cheese
 
pat of butter
