							| Hi Maryby22   It �s perfectly acceptable in Australia and we tend to follow British English.  It �s listed in my Maquarie Dictionary, the Australian National Dictionary, which has 200,000 definitions.   I agree with yanogator that stupidity is more common.   There �s a nice explanation here  Cheers   Jayho |  16 Feb 2010
