							| Most worksheets or handouts are made with a word processor such as Microsoft Word.  These are printed and handed to pupils/students to work with.  PowerPoint is another type of program that can be printed, but is better viewed on a computer or in a large class on a LCD or projector.   The advantage of powerpoint is that it is much more colourful and you dont have to print lots of sheets for the pupils to look at.  With skill the powerpoint can also include animation, clips from movies, sound and even be interactive.   The disadvantage is that you need a screen, projector and computer in your classroom.   This is a very simple introduction, I hope it helps | 17 Nov 2008
