							| Help with modals !!
 |
							| Hello everybody.
I have an English class this afternoon and I need your help to explain modal verbs for intermediate students. Firstly I always explain them English grammar  in Spanish because if I do it in English they won t understand me. I need some grammar theory about modals (must, may, migth, can, be able, should, ought...). Grammar in English would be perfect but if you have something in Spanish I ll appreciate it too.

 Thanks !!

							| "be able" and "ought" aren t actually modals, because they use the infinitive (with "to"), while the modals use the base form (infinitive without "to") | 25 Feb 2010
