Hello,
I came across an exercise, and I �m not sure what the correct verb form is. The sentence is: We were made .............. hard at grammar school (work). Is made followed by work, to work or working? Thank you for your help! Nurja

Yes, they are right. Active sentence, they made us work hard ( no "to" ).
Passive sentence, we are/were made to work hard. |
