Hi, anyone in Spain know much about the EOI intermediate English exam? I �d love to know what coursebooks you use or used to prep your students for it (I see in the Madrid EOI they use English File) I �ve got students who �ve suddenly decided they want to take it in May, yikes! I �m checking out the EOI websites, but if someone could condense the info for me into a short paragraph or give me useful links about the syllabus I need to cover I �d be very grateful, or give me any tips on how to go about prepping them....

In Catalonia EOI �s also uses English File :)

Some of the EOIs across the country use Face2Face, New ENglish File Intermediate and Language Leader Intermediate. The curriculum they have to cover depends on the community where they are going to sit for the exam. All community decrees are based on the Royal Decree 1629/2006 (RD 1629/2006) that establishes the minimum contents for all communities. The bad thing is that the royal decree, as well as the syllabus at different EOIs are written in Spanish. Also, if it helps, Intermediate level at EOIs corresponds with level B1 of the Common European Framework. Hope it helps!!!
