Hi, does anyone have tips or links to tips on correcting students � compositions directly on Word, (ie not on paper)?

Go to "view" then "Toolbars" then "Reviewing". A toolbar will pop up on the top. From there you can highlight an area or put your curser at an area and click "add comment" and a little box will pop up on the side. If you delete or add something (correcting spelling or adding a comma or something) a little box will also pop up showing what it is you did.
That �s just the basics, there are a lot more things you can do, but I just know how to use the basic parts.
