							| 2nd try Exhaust Manifold part
 |
							| Sorry about that enooooooooooooooooormous picture. Let s try again. The name of this part in Portuguese and French is "bicone". It is a very specific part that connects the exhaust manifold and the engine. Does anyone know the English word? German would also be useful. Thanks!   In dictionaries, it appears metal gland/bicone/conn plug (Schneidring) but it s not the same. In the automobile industry it must have a different name. | 26 Mar 2010

							| From the Proz.com search engine - an international translators zone I found the following:   a mechanical engineering term -  in the field of industry   translation of the French/Portuguese term BICONE in English is:   1) gas installation   2) CONE-UNION BODY   3) OLIVE FITTING/TERMINAL/NIPPLE   4) FLARE-TYPE TUBE FITTING   5) NIPPLE     The above is from  Franco Mori s glossary meccanica - a technical translator in English, French, Spanish, Italian with almost 30 years of experience.    I hope it helps.   Marie   | 26 Mar 2010
