You don �t understand what exactly?
The Future can be used in contexts referring to events in the past, where is it usually translated �was going to � or �was about to �. The "Indefinite" Future cannot be used this way, i.e. the "Indefinite" Future always refers to events that would be in the future with reference to the time of speaking.

And there is also so called Future-in-the-Past that is used in reported speech.
E.g. I will spend my holidays on Cyprus next summer (Fututre Indefinite). She said, she would spend her holidays on Cyprus next summer (Future-in-the-Past ) |
