							| Here are some. I thought of some myself and found some online for you from http://www.englishdaily626.com/proverbs.php

 Positive:

Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

 Better safe than sorry.

 Where there s a will there s a way.

 ...........................................
 Negative

Some people never learn. (not sure if this qualifies as a proverb but I d give it a thumbs up)

Dead men tell no lies. (often used as a good reason to kill someone)

 ...........................................

 Positive or Negative or Neutral:

The apple never falls far from the tree.

Birds of a feather flock together.

Be careful too. Some proverbs talk about negative things but encourage positive behavior. You might point this out to your students. Consider the following:

An idle mind is the devil s workshop.

A hungry man is an angry man.

That should get you off to a good start! Good luck! Proverbs are fun!
