LETTER "C" IS THE CORRECT ONE. You can not use the question structure unless it is a real question and in that case you need to use the question mark.
This is something like an indirect question so it follows the structure of a normal statement.

Anyway A for me is not possible because it is not a direct question, I mean you are not asking: How is he? you are telling you wonder this.

c is the right answer as we change the direct question to indirect question so there is no need to inversion. It means we should put the subject before the verb.
