							| Syllabus functions
 |
							| Dear ESL Printable Friends!!! I need to ask for your help! I am in the process of developing a syllabus for a group of students using the CEF (Common European Framework) as a reference. My students are in the Vantage Level (B2.1) so they are upper-intermediate. I have trouble finding a suitable list of functions for this level. Most of what I find is too easy, or too general.. I HAVE to include functions in the syllabus as a component of pragmatic competence. If you know of any websites/list of functions appropriate for this level, I will definitely appreciate your help! Thanks a lot in advance, and have a great teaching day! Carolina

							| Hi
Have you tried looking at existing coursebooks - if you look in the contents pages of books like Cutting Edge and English File Upper intermediate, they usually give lists of functions as well as grammar and vocabulary. There are also some coursebooks which are very function orientated - I think Oxford publish some good books of this type - probably all the big publishers do!

I couldn t find any good websites, but this looked interesting:

Hope you find what you need!
