							| Here in Israel labor day is also celebrated on the 1st of May. It is no longer an official day off work or anything. Here in Jerusalem there was a (dissapointingly small) march of mainly the leftist youth movements.  As I said, we don �t get a day off work for worker �s day but since this year it falls on a Saturday we are all off anyway. This year it coincides with the jewish festival of L �ag b �Omer so most kids are going to have bonfires tonight but they are not connected to �worker �s day �.......... |  1 May 2010
