							| The landlady looked at least 90 years old.She was so deaf that Kaan had to shout to make her hear him. (who/himself) This is a rewrite question and I doubt about my answer. The landlady who looked at least 90 years old was so deaf that Kaan had to shout to make himself to be heard. Is this answer correct or not? Thanks in advance for your kind help. | 5 May 2010

							| I would omit to be. I would write to make himself heard instead. Regards! | 5 May 2010

							| Either:The landlady who looked at least 90 years
old was so deaf that Kaan had to shout to make himself to be heard or:
The landlady who looked at least 90 years
old was so deaf that Kaan had to shout to make himself  heard

 is correct
