							| Baby of the turkey
 |
							| Hi everybody Could anyone please tell me how do we call the baby of the turkey.  I m talking ,of course, of the animal.  ( like, you know, cat & kitten) I looked in the dictionary and the internet but couldn t find the answer.
 Thanks for your help.

							| I think that most city-dwellers would call it a chick, even though the correct word is poult. Well, probably most city-dwellers would call it a baby turkey, and some would call it a chick.   Bruce | 19 May 2010
