Is it correct to say it is time īslunch?
I īve just finished writing final exam paper and there was an optional question about compound nouns , the question goes like this : It is lunchtime - time īslunch - time lunch ( choose )I am a pit puzzled if it is ok to say time īslunch.. |

There is a problem of space in your writing ;)
but in any case you don īt say It īs time īs lunch!
lunch doesn īt belong to time.

When you call kids to come eat, normaly you say :"Lunch Time!" with a loud voice to call the whole family ;) LOL
**********************************************
For the answer according your exam, it īs ==> It īs lunch time.
