							| Hi all   This is extremely interesting - more/most unique are both commonly used in everyday spoken and written English by NSs.  Just google it and you will see it in use.  So why?  I want to know.   Well, I found out why here. Take a look at the last three sentences and you will see that it is perfectly acceptable in modern usage but only in certain senses i.e. when comparing things that are distinctively characteristic or unusual.  Well, I learned something new tonight.  Thanks for raising the question Barbara.  Now Im back to my marking.   Cheers   Jayho | 2 Jun 2010
