							| In the land of Oz usually use had/have but sometimes do is ok (as Apodo pointed out) e.g. Interviewee: - I have to do (have) an interview before the medical - First I did (had) an interview and then I did (had) a practical test   Interviewer/company: - We will do (have) interviews next week - Lets do (have) the interviews and then decide on a shortlist for stage 3   Cheers   Jayho         | 6 Jun 2010

							| Jayho, Your reply made me realize that in your last two examples, we in the US would say "hold interviews". We use "hold" for the process of interviewing, especially with the plural.   Bruce | 6 Jun 2010

							| Agreed Bruce, hold is also ok from an employers perspective.  As is often the case, there are many words that are interchangeable and it depends on context.  There are also other words that employers use such as arrange and organise.  They all fit my and Apodo s examples   Cheers   Jayho | 6 Jun 2010

							| In fact you can "do" an interview.
eg. He s a very private man and rarely does interviews  (Source: Oxford Collocations)

If you google "did an interview" you get 12 million results!

							| The only time i would use Do an interview would be if i was actually doing the interviewing.
Example: I have to do some interviews tomorrow.

I think this is the only time i would use this situation.
