Hi Everybody!
I �m looking for a one-word opposite of the adjective jeallous or envious? Is there one or is the opposite simply not jealous? I just can �t think of anything in this heat...Please help!

ps: I googled opposites+ jeallous and what I got was: undesirous, undesiring, trustful, trusting. Somehow they don´t seem good enough.. |

thanks for your help people but I couldnt find anything I need...
OK, let me explain what I need a bit better, though I run the risk of getting accused of advertising myself...
In a worksheet i am preparing I have various quotes from famous people about friendship. One of the exercises that follow has a list of adjectives describing true friends and you have to match them to the quote. For example "A friend is one who knows us, but loves us anyway." --> understanding.
What adjective would you match with this quote by Oscar Wilde?
"Anybody can sympathise with the sufferings of a friend, but it requires a very fine nature to sympathise with a friend�s success"
I was thinking the opposite of jealous but undesirous, undesiring, trustful, trusting which I get from all the sites you suggested just dont ring right.
Please, please think of something I can use i�m really stuck! |

It �s OK Juliag, I don �t think there is one anyway...I guess I will have to replace the whole quote.
