							| there s LOTS OF and A LOT OF - you can use both with the same meaning, but you have to be careful with singular-plural accordance. E. g. There is a lot of chocolate on the shelves.(like using a bunch of, a pile of, etc.) There are lots of chocolate bars on the shelves.(like using many, several, numerous) | 19 Jul 2010

							| Both "a lot of" and "lots of" can be used with plural or noncountable nouns to mean either "much" or "many".   I don t have a lot of money. My friend has lots of money.   I have a lot of books. I have lots of books.   I hope this helps you, Bruce | 19 Jul 2010
