							| It s hardly a precise science, Anita, and I m firmly in the camp of those who think that any interviewer who claims he/she can suss a candidate with a few well-chosen questions is, in fact, talking through his/her fundament. Borrowing interview techniques from others is a dodgy business: what works for A might not work for Z. If you had your own school and you wanted the best candidate - the candidate who, in your opinion, ticks the right boxes, your boxes - you would know exactly what to ask.
A matter of casual interest, Anita: have you recently been asked to conduct interviews or are you thinking of opening your own school? | 25 Aug 2010

							| @Anita, I didn t think it was funny and I also think the girl wasn t hired after this sad episode.
I m usually asked this question: what is your biggest weakness?

							| One my most fourite videos ever! I was going to reccomend it too! Monty Python rule!   Here is another good one that a friend was asked in an interview:   -Are you planning to have any children? -Not right now -In the future? -Well, yes... -And you ll probably be wanting time off when they get sick, right?.... .... No comments... | 25 Aug 2010

							| To be bluntly honest here, I have hired a few people in my lifetime and I can say that quite truthfully, you hire the people you think you can get on best with. The rest is just a bunch of bunk ...Intuition tends to be the best policy and not questions like "If there was a fire, who would you save first? Your mother-in-law or a total stranger... "
In my opinion, the interviewer is just trying to get a feel for that person and truthfully, I think that if they left the stupid questions alone and held a normal conversation, they might actually "understand" a candidate better than when they ask them "specialised interview questions" that can be found (and rehearsed) anywhere on the Net.

							| You only need one question: Which football team do you support? If the answer is Manchester United or Arsenal, you know not to hire them!
