Hi everybody!
I would like to know how can we say the different primary cycles! In Spain we say "Ciclo inicial", for those children who are 6-7 years old; "Ciclo medio", for those who are 8-9 and "Ciclo Superior", for those who are 10-11 years old.

We use the terms:
Preschool 4-5
Lower primary 5-7 (or infants)
Middle primary 8-10
Upper primary 11-12 |

I South Africa we use the following terms
Grade R 4 - 5 years
Foundation Phase : Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 Kids between (6 - 9 years)
Intermediate Phase : Grade 4, 5 and 6 some schools include Grade 7 - Kids between (10 - 12 or 13)
Sometimes learners who are intelligent finish Primary School when they are 11 or if they start Grade 1 when they are 5 |
