							| Help on a word

							| Hi, everybody! I m preparing a PPT and I need to use the word "Pedagoga". In Spanish such a person is generally also a teacher who has deepened their knowledge on pedagogy. The only one I ve found is "teacher", "educator" or "pedagogue" but it just says someone who teaches children. Does anyone know if there is an English equivalent for taht? Thanks in advance. A hug and have a nice Sunday. | 12 Sep 2010

							| I would use "didactician" which while uncommon should get the proper meaning across. Didactics basically means the same as pedagogy, but pedagogue implies pedantic teaching which I m sure you want to avoid. Otherwise you could say "expert in pedagogy."
 Hope that helps.
