							| Thanks for posting this! This is a big topic right now in the US as well, as there have recently been 4 teenaged suicides due to bullying (specifically bullying because of their sexuality.)  As we are teachers of language, it is important for us to teach inclusive language as well as teach why certain words are offensive in English, where they may not carry the same connotations or weight in their "translated" home language version. |  1 Oct 2010
