I �d say that a loyalty card lets you accumulate points you �ll be able to exchange for things. (like Air Miles we have in Canada and US) and a discount card gives you a rebate on your purchase. |

sometimes you get a discount when you reached a certain number of points with your loyalty cards. for example 5 000 points = 5% discount, 10 000 points = 10% ...
some loyalty cards don �t really offer any perks like that, but you receive emails telling you there �s going to be a special one-day sale for loyalty card holders... or if you go to the shop around Christmas you �ll get a little gifts...
but usually both cards are free and don �t ask you for your bank details, if they do, RUN!!!
