Yesterday,I asked for a short play and a friend suggested many ones,hence I �d like to thank her /him extremely for her / his precious effort .I am really happy to be one modest member among such a considerable community.But,still dear friends in a need to a contraversy or a debate to be held in the classroom e.g smoking or any suggested topic.My sts are ten years old and this suggested contraversy is similar to A TV programme .Sts discuss a certain subject showing the different aspects of it clearing the advantages and disadvantages of it.This is the idea in brief but frankly I am comfused because I have no materials �
If you help me ,I �ll be the happiest person

I would say a"debate". A balloon debate . At least in Britain!
Good luck to you with your dabate. I hope it does not bring too much controversy among your students!

I suppose you are looking for hot topics and making a heated debate
If I were you I would talk about school rules and about the parent-child problems and children rights
Maybe you can ask your students to write a list of THEIR VERY OWN "hot topics" as well...
Homework should be volutary
School should finish before 1 pm
Physical education should be obligatory / voluntary
Religious education should be obligatory / voluntary
Parents mustn �t ask their kids not to watch TV
Our films are better than American films and Hollywood films.
Children should be allowed to play computer games any time they like
Smoking should be banned
If the parent smokes, then s/he can�t ask the child not to smoke
Children under (15) mustn�t be arrested for any crime (shoplifting, car theft...)
Children at the age of 16 should be allowed to drive a car
Girl shouldn�t spend too much time taking care of her baby sister/brother, it is the work for the parent, not for the little girl...
