Hi! Does anyone know what the current average salaries (I mean, including all professions, not just teaching) are in Spain, France, Germany and the UK? If you do happen to know the figures could you also let me know where you got the info from.
I �ve heard that about half of Spaniards are earning 1,000 or less a month, is that right?
Getting ever closer to the weekend..... Yippee!

I saw a report on tv last nite that stated that the salaries in some parts of estern Germany were half of those in Denmark.

In Spain there are a lot of people who earn 1000euros but they are people with no studies or very young but teachers, for example, earn about 2200 euros. Our salaries as public servant has been reduced (7%).

What we earn in Latvia per month is what people in some other countries earn per week ha ha ha!

The number for Germany seems a bit high, but that is because the numbers include executive salaries, which are often quite extreme. I think the average blue collar worker probably averages about 15-1700 Euros a month after taxes and insurances. If they have minor children kids they receive another 100-200 euros a month from the state as well. |

I tend to agree with Baiba. The average wage in Spain is absolutely nowhere near that figure. Most people, if they are lucky, (and not in a government paid job), are earning around 1000 euros... heck, in my area 700 euros/month is a relatively "good wage"...

Douglas, it can �t be. It is not true, it �s far from being true.... For instance in Romania it �s like the 5th part of that (tax free)... And if you look carefully Belgium is mentioned twice.
Not even in Lei-Ron (Romanian Currency) is not true... Maybe for some countries it is real but for some of them it �s surely not...

How much do you pay for rent, for a kilo of meat, a pound of coffee, for bread or for clothes?
