							| Dear Friends, which would be the correct way to ask for the following sentence:

 M. Thatcher is visiting her former residence at 10 Downing Street

option 1: Where is she visiting?
option 2: What place is she visiting?

 Thanks a lot!

							| I d say "Where is she visiting?" but the other option isn t wrong. The first just sounds more natural to me. | 27 Oct 2010

							| I agree that the first sounds smoother, but it might not be a specific enough question. A person might answer "London" or even "England". Because of that, we sometimes have to ask a question in a way that is not the best wording.   Bruce | 27 Oct 2010

							| I agree with Bruce, they aren t specific enough. How about - "What is M. Thatcher doing in London?" | 28 Oct 2010
