 |
							| Hello everybody!!! Hope you are doing well. I need your help, I would need ideas or suggestions about how to work the topic of the family with kids aged from 3 to 6. From now on, I told them a story about a family and I introduced the members of the family with big flashcard, and then they made their own family tree. But the fact is I dont know what to do in addition... please help me :S | 30 Oct 2010

							| I ask my students to bring family photos for the lesson and introduce the family members to their friends. Its interesting and it works. I also bring my family photos and let them learn something about my private life. | 30 Oct 2010

							| Also, you can create finger puppets.  Think about making them with paper. Ask your students to create each finger puppet with their own family members.  Look for finger puppets patterns.  they can color each puppet, cut them and paste them during class and the next day play with them.    | 31 Oct 2010

							| I was checking materials to work with songs and I found one that says "Family Finger Kit".  It has a song and patterns here in eslprintables. It might be helpful. | 31 Oct 2010

							| Hi! This is an activity I prepared last year for a group of that age: BEsides this, I make a little note for their parents asking them to write a short story from three or four words learnt in class. EG: TREE, DOG, BLUE, RAINBOW... from these words, the family have to create a story and the children have to make a drawing about it... When I have all the stories at school, I read them to all my sts and they have to choose the one they liked most and make a drawing about it.

Another activity is: showing "The Ugly Duckling" movie and they paint some pics abot it... I has lots of vocabulary about families.
I hope this is useful for you... If you have any question, PM me... Ill be glad to help you...
 Have a nice weekend.
