							| Double comparatives
 |
							| I ve got a doubt and I wonder if someone can help clarifying it.
 Adjective: well-paid (long adjective)
Comparative: more well-paid or better paid

so when using the double comparative I assume both
"some jobs are becoming more and more well-paid" or "some jobs are becoming better and better-paid" are possible. Am I right?

 Thanks a lot.
 Sorcha

							| I would use:   some jobs are becoming more and more well paid.   some jobs are becoming much better paid   some jobs are becoming much more well paid   I wouldn t use better and better paid, but the pay for some jobs is getting better and better.       | 3 Nov 2010

							| I would say more and more well-paid. As I would also say more and more good-looking.
Isn t it the same "rule" ?

 =)
