							| I have found a proverb which is very much used translated into Spanish but I m not sure if it is equally used in English "Two in distress makes sorrow less". Can you help me and tell me if it is used nowadays? Thanks in advance

							| I only know this very common one:   A sorrow shared is a sorrow halved.    :))   | 5 Nov 2010

							| I would say that the more common version is "a problem shared is a problem halved" | 5 Nov 2010

							| I ve heard "Shared joy is double joy.  Shared sorrow is half the sorrow."  Also, "A shared joy is twice the joy.  A shared pain is half the pain."
It doesn t quite "ring" for me and there are slightly different versions, so it made sense when I read that it s actually the translation of a Swedish proverb.
