							| HELLO @MJ_Misa
 you should say:
how many lines are there in London Underground? How many different lines are there on the London Underground?
there ARE 12 lines. Bakerloo line Central line
 Circle line
 District line
 East London line
 Hammersmith and City line
 Jubilee line
 Metropolitan line
 Northern Line
 Piccadilly line
 Victoria line
 Waterloo and city line....

now I have another doubt, i don t know if you should use in or on  i think you should use the prep. ON

							| MJ Lisa - Are is corrrect   el_profe55 - some people use in and others use on. I think they are interchangeable.  In this particuar context I myself would use in but I m not a Londoner so perhaps a Londoner can advise us about local usage.   Also, I would add an article to the sentence: How many lines are there in the L.U.?  However, in everyday usage, some people might add an article and others dont.  Once again, maybe a Londoner can enlighten us.
