							| Theres a great article here by the Red Cross concerning children and war including case studies in Ethiopia, Sierra Leone and Russia .     According to the United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF), 2 million children have been killed by conflict over the last decade; 6 million children have been made homeless; 12 million have been injured or disabled; and there are at least 300,000 child soldiers operating in 30 different conflicts across the globe. | 17 Nov 2010

							| There will be a lot of material on Hiroshima, Japan on the effects of WW2. Otherwise the effects of warfare in Europe should have a lot too. First things that come to mind are the Atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima to end WW2 or the concentration camps in Europe.

							| Wow, what a subject, how old is your son? Kind of nice to see how all over the world, parents are busy with their kids homework!! Looks a like a truly universal issue    (I am learning more biology, history and chemistry than when I was in Highschool myself, just by helping my kids)) | 17 Nov 2010
