We live on the earth.
We live in the earth
Can you tell me what the difference is ?

Hi, We live on earth is correct as we live on the surface of the planet. We live in the earth would only be correct for worms and other sub-surface creatures. I hope this helps |

Worms, potatoes, roots, etc live (or grow) IN the Earht.
