							| NO, friendly is an adjective, but an adverb is required in your sentence you could say peacefully or amicably, for instance

							| Apparently so as friendly can be an adverb meaning amicably.

I looked it up on this site. But I must admit at first I thought it was wrong as I was not aware that "friendly" could be used as an adverb! | 12 Dec 2010

							| If you follow lolotte s link, you ll find that only one of the listings shows "friendly" as an adverb, and it doesn t given an example.   It isn t usually used as an adverb, and "The girls play friendly" definitely doesn t sound natural, so I would recommend not using it, as elderberrywine suggested.   Bruce | 12 Dec 2010

							| The adverb from friendly is friendlily . It definitely exists, but since it s a bit of a mouthful (and sounds a little childlike) most people prefer to find another word or rework the sentence:
The girls play in a friendly way
The girls play together as good friends

 -or-

 The girls play friendlily .
