							| WOD-DECEMBER 23 WINNER!!!
 |
							| The WOD was YAKKA and it means work imn Australia and New Zealand. It goes back to 19th century and its origin is unknown. The winner is EDROMEDINA with his definition It can mean a female yak as in : The yakka gave birth to a healthy yakkling. It can also mean, as the root (yak) of the word implies, a yenta (Yiddish for a gossip) as in: The yakka knew all the dirt on everyone in the small village.

Two very-very close runner ups are GLORIAWPAI with very simple and real life definition "everytime when I gave food to my son when he was a little boy and he didn t wanna eat, he d say: yakka!!!" and STEXSTME with a beautiful piece of acrostic poetry

An expression "What a yakka!" is frequently used by Tibetans, who have brought it to the USA."

APODO, glad you liked the daffynitions of a common word. Hope now you ll estimate it more as it is reach in meaning:)

JAYHO, you simply cracked this task od defyining a word with " it is also an anagram of KAYAK and that special way of falling out of the kayak when you are not paddling correctly is known as yakka"

OLINDALIMA ( F ), you are amazingly faithful to you pet. Animals leave imprints not just with dirty paws on the floor
