							| Bolo-rei-translating into English!
 |
							| Hi everyone!Does someone know the translation for bolo rei(Portugal name for a traditional Christmas  cake ) ?   I searched for the meaning and it said:"ring shaped cake made of eggs and dried fruit mainly eaten at Christmas".   In Spanish they call it "roscón" and in French "galette des rois".     Thanks in advance! | 6 Jan 2011

							| Hi there,   as far as I know there ´s isn ´t "bolo rei" neither in the USA nor in the UK. So there ´s only the equivalent : Christmas pudding which is similar but not the same :) | 6 Jan 2011

							| For Mardis Gras you often hear of "King Cake"--perhaps that would be an acceptable translation. | 6 Jan 2011
