when we use the word : bad tempered we use it with the verb to be o have got???

we can say : I�ve got a smiling face or smily face.

                      I�ve got s silvery ring or a silver ring. (because silvery is also an adjective)


     than for your help in advance.

He �s bad-tempered/ He �s got a bad temper.

I �ve got a smiling face. = I �m smiling right now, whereas I �m a smiley person. = I tend to smile often/ What are you all smiley about? = Why are you smiling? (http://www.macmillandictionary.com/dictionary/british/smiley). Not sure about this one, though - I �ve read the definition of smiley again and again and I just think it might not be suitable for describing a face; it might be more suitable for describing character...But perhaps a native speaker would be of more help on this one.

I �ve got a silver ring. = It �s made of silver, whereas I �ve got a silvery ring. = It �s the colour of/ looks like silver, but it �s not made of silver.

We can Say:
 
He �s a happy smiley person. (a cheerful person)
She �s a smiley person. (a cheerful person)
What a happy smiley face. (happy looking)
She �s full of smiles. (a cheerful/ happy person)
She �s all smiles because she passed her exam. (She �s happy/ pleased)
 
Silvery is rather poetic. .....By the light of the silvery moon. I wouldn �t normally use it with watch on it �s own. (silvery watch)
 
...for a watch not made of silver, but metal etc.  that looks like silver:
silver-looking watch or silvery-looking watch.
 
Pollution put a silvery sheen on the surface of the water.
 
Other native speakers may use these words differently. 8-)
