							| in my first year of teaching, I didn �t know how to teach phonetics - but now that I know how, I always try to put phonetic symbols on the board... to make my students realize you pronounce the -ed of regular verbs in the simple past "t", "d" or "id" and not "ed"... ;) and so on...

							| hi, don �t know if anybody will still read this post, but phonics is the most important part of teaching English, without phonics you cannot read or spell, never mind the pronunciation. |  21 Jan 2011
