Hello all! Needing for your help again, I �m kind of stuck here: is it correct, for example in a crossword, or wordsearch, to say the words can be written
forward or .... ? ( can �t think of the word!) ------->
<------- backward
upward (going up)
downward (going down)
I �m stuck with -----> (the "normal" way to write from left to right)

Maybe the terms you are looking for are:
Across
reverse
down
diagonally down
diagonally up.
