The images in this worksheet are not pornographic - the nudity is part of a campaign for PETA which regularly uses nudity to discourage abuses against animals. It �s non-sexual nudity and therefore not pornographic nor, in my opinion, in bad taste. It �s an image that makes a point - a worthwhile point about animal cruelty. While I admit that the drug metaphor for clothing is not to my liking, I believe it would lead to interesting discussions about how appropriate it is and the message behind it - teaching people to think for themselves. I voted for it to stay because it �s a valid (and useful) ESL resource.
What members of this site do, or do not use with their students is completely up to them. Dictating morals is not. This worksheet has been reported three times and kept three times, because it does not infringe the rules of the site in any way. It contains images, tasks and would be useful in certain classes. Teenagers see a lot worse and the images they are exposed to generally don �t make such a good, moral point - has anyone seen a Katy Perry video?! Or listened to Lady Gaga �s lyrics? There are free porn channels on Spanish TV after midnight! Let �s not even consider what teenagers see on the internet. This worksheet does not even compare and, again, I consider the images entirely appropriate for teaching adults, and in some cases, older teenagers.
I hope this worksheet never gets reported again - there really needs to be a limit on how many times a worksheet can be reported because it �s getting ridiculous.
Of course, it �s entirely possible that it �s the image of George Bush that everyone is offended by, in which case I completely understand!

The simple fact that this worksheet raised such a storm shows IMHO that is is a great sheet. The sheet was intended to cause students (adult students mind you!!) to discuss/articulate their opinions and as we can see here, it succeeded really well...I am completely with Lindsey! |

Dont know why people are so prudish on a site where they an choose what they download and what not. Why doesn �t anyone write in the comment section of the worksheet: don �t bother to report it , we �ve been through that several times?
That might stop the reporting

I have to admire your brass neck. It wasn �t so long ago that you admitted that you had been telling lies in your posts, that you �d already had an account cancelled (although we know there were more, eh, Miguel/Elena/Alberto?) and that you had been more or less dishonest and untrustworthy. But you really needed this site, you said, and, presumably, were going to change for the better. Although, if Mena �s comments are anything to go by, you �ve obviously done nothing of the sort.
Your adoption of a high moral tone in your inimitable style would be comical if it weren �t so hypocritical. As others have said, there �s nothing �inappropriate � about this worksheet since it deals with a relevant and useful ESL theme and, of course, it would be up to the teacher to decide what age group it can be used with. What you seem to have achieved once again is directing the attention of members back to you and your �shortcomings �. |

I �m with Marion. I didn �t think of using it before, but I changed my mind. If it gets such an emotional reaction among teachers, maybe it �ll make a splash among students. We got the best results when they get emotionally involved, and this ws really made it! |

When it comes to moral values, one tends to be lenient with his own infringements and strict concerning the other �s. Or some people do.
The worksheet is so immoral and offensive, but using other person �s clipart and ideas is not... nudity is offensive, copying is not. Being banned and getting another account, telling lies and changing names over and over again seem to be OK for this person.
I don �t understand the moral values you claim to have. I �m for second changes, but how many chances more do you need to prove Victor that you haven �t gotten the point of this site yet? How many chances more do you need to prove you aren �t able to follow rules (and still think you �re the best person to tell moderators how we have to review worksheets)? |

This site is ESL Printables, not ESL Kid �s Printables, so I don �t
understand all the fuss. We all pick and choose what we like and what we
don �t - no one is telling us what to download.
I have never had a single student younger than 18, and currently every
student is older than my own age of 25. You don �t see me complaining
that there �s too much material for children and not for adults
Each of us should know our students and what materials we can or can �t
use with them. I know that if I were teaching in a more conservative
country that I shouldn �t use these, but I �ve never had a problem using much
more controversial material than this in the Czech Republic, such
as using Czech artist Jan
Saudek �s work. It �s all relative, and it comes down to the students
and our relationship with them.
...wait till I get around to sprucing up my worksheets on swearing,
nudity, violence, censorship, etc and uploading them
