							| Song for did/didn īt (or contemporary past simple song?)
 |
							| Hi dear people, I need a song to enforce questions/negative sentences in past simple. My students are 12 yrs old (but consider themselves grown ups ;) and pre-intermedeate in level . Ideally it would have īdid but a good past simple song will do as well, I can make īdid exercises myself.. Any ideas anyone? | 27 Jan 2011

							| I īve just put a WS online on a song "sunday with a flu" which is quite good to start with.  There are a few others anyway so you can just choose the one that most suits your students. Here is the link : http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=501561#thetop

							| I𣛮 LOOKING THROUGH YOU   by The Beatles I īm looking through you, where did you go
I thought I knew you, what did I know
You don īt look different, but you have changed
I īm looking through you, you īre not the same

Your lips are moving, I cannot hear
Your voice is soothing, but the words aren īt clear
You don īt sound different, I īve learned the game.
I īm looking through you, you īre not the same

Why, tell me why, did you not treat me right?
Love has a nasty habit of disappearing overnight

You īre thinking of me, the same old way
You were above me, but not today
The only difference is you īre down there
I īm looking through you, and you īre nowhere

Why, tell me why, did you not treat me right?
Love has a nasty habit of disappearing overnight

I īm looking through you, where did you go
I thought I knew you, what did I know
You don īt look different, but you have changed
I īm looking through you, you īre not the same

 Yeah! Oh baby you changed!
Aah! I īm looking through you!
Yeah! I īm looking through you!
You changed, you changed, you changed!

It īs old but it does have the īdid
