							| Do you mean IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) notation? I m still looking for an easy (and portable) transcription system for Mac OSX. Everything I ve used so far has been a bit clunky, time-consuming and ultimately unsatisfactory. | 11 Feb 2011

							| Yep, I have Lucida Unicode but it s not working with this text :S Maybe the problem is not mine and the original document is corrupted... I ll ask my friend to send the the pdf version tomorrow.
Have you tried at linguisticmystic.com? You may find the solution there (I couldn t...) Good luck!!

							| Thanks, Olga. I had many problems with the Doulos file before, but I ve also had a few niggles with CharisSIL and the Keyboard layout. The installation and configuration instructions relayed on this oddly amiable site are fairly straightforward, mind you, and it does warn you not to get too cosy with Word; but then again, it also says it s easy enough to copy & paste (from TextEdit) on to Word so I m going to give it another bash.
